After spending a leisurely Sunday at home, the very thought of returning to work on Monday is tiring. 22) Lethargy creep in if the holiday continues over an extended period. 23) that is how I felt when I was preparing to return to my work of place after spending six months at home. 24) The fact that I was to leave behind my newly-wedded wife and go to a far-off place did not help either. 25) Obvious I did not want to go. 26) However, I finally do decide to go.

Explanation: If the facts or something is described in a general sense, the sentence comes in simple present tense and (s/es) is added with singular subject in Simple Present Tense. Here the word Lethargy is Singular subject.

Explanation: The word of is a preposition and it is used to show how people or things relate to other people or things. Here, work of place is twisted
Correct (24): The fact that I ………………… newly-wed wife ……………………did not help either.
Explanation:The Correct Compound Adjective is newly-wed
Correct (25): Obviously ……………… want to go.
Explanation: obviously is an adverb which is giving correct sense here not obvious.
Correct (26): However, I finally decided or did decide to go.
Explanation: Since the paragraph shows the incident of past, the verb decide should be in past form and the sentence itself is giving the clue that it should better be written in simple past tense. Either write decided or the helping verb did which is a helping verb of simple past tense then after did, write the verb (decide) that should be in present form (v1).
